The Lord took our angel, Betty (Kirbaugh-Buckel) Gaslin, 79 of Washingtonville, Ohio on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
She was born on April 23, 1938 in Hammondsville, OH a daughter to the late John and Anna J. (Tice) Kirbaugh. For the last 50 years she has lived in Washingtonville, OH and enjoyed playing cards and Bingo while listening to all types of music. Betty gave a home and helping hand to many children and adults.
She leaves her husband Dale Gaslin Jr., a daughter: Tammy Buckel of Leetonia, OH; a son: Anthony (Amanda) Buckel of Phoenix, AZ; nieces and nephews whom she raised: G. Louise (Brandle) Jessop, Slade Brandle Jr., Phillip Brandle and Pauline (Brandle) Riffle; a sister: Nancy Tripodi and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband Raymond Buckel; eight sisters; seven brothers; a son: John Leslie Palmer; a step-son: Leslie Palmer Jr. a step-daughter: Alice Palmer Lehman and a niece/foster child: Gretchen (Brandle) Smith.
Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11 AM with Lisa Elliott of Community Hospice officiating. Burial will take place in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Wellsville funeral home on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2 to 5 PM.
