Darlene Y. Wellershause, 77 of East Liverpool, Ohio went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in East Liverpool on February 20, 1942 the daughter of the late Fearl and Marie (Seder) Brown. Living all of her life in this area, Darlene was a 1964 graduate of Hammondsville High School, a homemaker, attended the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church and worked as a Poll Worker for the Board of Elections.
She is survived at home by her husband Joseph W. Wellershause whom she married August 28, 1971; a daughter: Candis Marie Wallace of East Liverpool, OH; grandchildren: Mariah Russell, Christopher Russell and Nicholas Wallace.
Services will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes in Calcutta on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11 AM with Pastor Greg Mead officiating. Burial will take place in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.
