Joan Betteridge, 86 of East Liverpool, OH passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Orchards of East Liverpool following an extended illness.
She was born on December 29, 1932 in Gloucester, England a daughter to the late Joseph Thomas Wintle and Blodwin (Lewis) Wintle. Joan was raised in England and moved to the United States in 1953. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, a member of Senior Link and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by a son: John Betteridge of East Liverpool, OH; three daughters: Christine Jackson of East Liverpool, OH, Jenny Croft of Lisbon, OH and Kelly Betteridge of Highlandtown, OH; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter: Sandra Holland; five brothers and one sister.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 5 PM.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta funeral home on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 3 PM up until the time of the service at 5 PM.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
