I have known Bonnie for over sixty years. Our parents were good friends. They were wonderful people. Any time I saw Bonnie, she was always friendly and lovely. She never failed to be kind. She so loved her family and was so very proud of all of you. May she Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. I wanted you to know that Miss McLaren was my 2nd grade teacher in Chester. She was one of the biggest influences in my desire to be a teacher. I was probably one of her first classes (1965/66). Years later, I was working at the IGA in Lisbon and she came in. I recognized her immediately. She was as sweet and kind then, as she was 25 years earlier as my teacher. She was a great lady. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

The first time I ever saw Bonnie was when I worked at Kroger’s in Calcutta. She was not a part of my family then, and I didn’t know her at all. But she was so beautiful, I thought she must have been a movie star and reminded me of a young Elizabeth Taylor. When she came through my register, she was as nice as could be to me. Years later, she became family. I’ll always remember how she made us feel very special to her with a gift or a card. And the large amounts of food she would bring to our family gatherings that took us several trips to the car to unload! She made sure her children and grandchildren had the best life she could give them with her generosity and thoughtfulness! My wish for them is that they keep living their best life in her memory, she would want that for them! My sincere condolences, thoughts, and prayers are with you Jodi, Curt, and families at this time.

My condolences to your family, Miss McLaren was my elementary school teacher and also the first teacher that I had a crush on. She was an excellent teacher and always did the best for her students. In fact one day back in the Mid 90s I believe I was at the white stallion club in Chester and I looked over and saw her and her husband at a table, I told my friend who she was and that I had a crush on her in elementary school and that I was going to go over and ask if I could have a dance with my favorite teacher she looked at me and Smiled and said of course, as we were dancing I told her who I was and that I had a crush on her in many many years ago in elementary school she told me she remembered who I was, I think she was just being polite because of all the students that She taught, but anyway it has been and always will be one of my most cherished memories thank you and God bless you miss McLaren.

I remember Bonnie from years ago out and about town. I thought she was the most beautiful woman in East Liverpool. She had dark shiny hair and sparkling eyes when she smiled that million dollar smile. In most recent years, her beauty was still there, the sparkle in her eyes and that stunning smile that seemed to never leave her beautiful face. Her children and grandchildren look so much like her. She was very proud of her family that is as loving and caring as she was. Memories will sustain you and bring a smile when you least expect it. Everything she was, she still is. Rest easy Bonnie, we will see you soon.❤
